In God’s Love, We Begin Anew: A Letter to Our Parents
Dear Parents,
Greetings in the Lord!
As we begin a new academic year, we would like to express our sincere gratitude for your trust in us and for allowing us to journey alongside you in your child’s growth and development. Education, at its core, is not only the impartation of knowledge but also the cultivation of spiritual values and character. This is beautifully echoed in our school motto:
“Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.” — Proverbs 22:6
This verse is not only a biblical truth but also the daily mission of our educational work. We firmly believe that every child is a unique and precious creation of God, worthy of our utmost care, love, and guidance.
At Tseung Kwan O Methodist Kindergarten, our teaching team is more than just a group of educators — we are spiritual companions on your child’s journey. We begin each day with prayer and build our teaching upon the love of Christ. Through learning, thanksgiving, sharing, honesty, and respect in the classroom, we aim to instill in each child the truth and love of our Heavenly Father. In our daily lives, we strive to lead by example, guiding our students to trust in God and cultivate a heart of gratitude, so they may walk a path of righteousness and blessing throughout their lives.
Parents are a child’s first and most influential teachers, and kindergarten represents their first experience of formal education and community life. We are convinced that only through close collaboration and open communication between home and school can we truly understand each child’s unique qualities and needs. We hope to be your listening ear, your partner, and your support as we work together to provide the most appropriate education, enabling every child at Tseung Kwan O Methodist Kindergarten to grow in love and confidence.
May our kindergarten be the first place in your child’s life that is filled with joy and hope. May the grace of the Lord be with us always, guiding us to grow in love and walk in faith, so that each and every child may flourish in the light of our Heavenly Father and live out a vibrant spiritual life.
Abundant blessings in Christ,
